A Quick Update on Our Progress to Date
Next steps with ABM for Good™
A huge thank you to everyone who raised hands in support of our new volunteer #ABM initiative to Mobilize Account-Based Marketing for a Better Tomorrow.
We’re still very early in developing ABMforGood™ but are moving ahead with three main initiatives and preparing for a fourth.
- We’ve launched our first pro bono consulting project with a fantastic global nonprofit focused on strengthening their corporate partnerships. It’s been a great opportunity to begin testing our approach for real - and starting to actually do good. Stay tuned for more as the project develops.
- We’re launching our first research project to explore how the current social-political-economic turmoil is affecting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and philanthropy programs. Stay tuned for a formal announcement on this, too.
- We’re formalizing our volunteer program to tap the creative energy that we’ve already seen and heard.
- Finally, we’re sketching out what I hope will be a fun and compelling ABMersForGood platform to let experienced ABMers and other marketers tell their personal stories about working “for good” in their own communities. We're just beginning to flesh this out but we’re thrilled to have the support of SlapFive: Customer Marketing and their wonderful customer voice platform as a foundation (check them out, they’re great!).
Please let us know if you’re interested in participating in any way, large or small. We’re excited at the potential, especially as the need for ABM-like initiatives in the nonprofit world is greater than ever amid the upheavals that we’re all dealing with.
